By accessing or using the Saucy Lures LLC website (“the Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Site immediately.

 

2. Products and Orders

All products listed on our Site are subject to availability. Though we do our best to ensure our website always shows the most current product information, including price and product description, Saucy Lures LLC reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or change product specifications, prices, or descriptions at any time without notice.  We won't do this just to trick you, however.  We want you to get what you have paid for and to be happy with your purchase.  Otherwise we'd fail as a business.  We're just saying "we reserve the right" so that no one will consider us an easy target for a frivolous lawsuit.

 

By placing an order, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract. Once an order is submitted, it cannot be altered or canceled unless approved by Saucy Lures LLC in writing.

 

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time, even after an order has been placed, though we will do our best to notify you of this change before we process your order so that you are fully aware of it. Payments are processed securely through third-party providers-- Saucy Lures LLC does not store credit card information.

 

4. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping times are estimates only and not guaranteed. Any fool would understand and accept that Saucy Lures LLC is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather conditions, customs, or any other events beyond our control. Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery to the carrier.  If any of that happens, we will commiserate and do anything within reasonable limits to rectify the situation, but we cannot simply replace any item lost or delayed-- our legal responsibility ends when we hand the carrier the package.

 

5. Returns and Exchanges

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused and unopened items only. You must contact us at [Insert Email] before returning any product.

Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is defective or the wrong item was shipped.  In that case, please contact us: we will review our records, may ask you to photograph the item(s), and will gladly discuss with you what options we might have for you.

 

Refunds will be issued once the returned item is inspected and approved. Custom manufactured or clearance items are non-refundable, even if defective, but will be marked and advertised as such before being offered for sale.

 

6. Product Use and Safety

Our fishing gear is intended for lawful recreational use only. Saucy Lures LLC is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss arising from improper use, modification, or handling of our products. Always use fishing equipment safely and in accordance with local regulations.  Hooks are sharp.  That's why they catch fish.  If you end up in the hospital with a fishing hook caught in your hand, you can compliment us on the effectiveness of our product, but the failure to handle it safely devolves entirely upon you.  Please be careful.

 

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saucy Lures LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Site or products purchased through it.

 

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.

 

8. Intellectual Property

All creative content on this Site not in the public domain or freely licensed for reuse, including logos, images, product designs, and text, is the property of Saucy Lures LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark laws to the extent possible under US law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any such materials without prior written consent.  Any content reproduced under a free license requiring notice of the author and original location of that material has been marked according to the 2025 Creative Commons policy guidelines.  If you find that any of our content is in violation of those guidelines, please notify us immediately so that we can remove it from the Site.
